Time: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM EDT

Event Description:
Join the SSPC Health and Well-Being Council for our Dine and Develop with guest speaker Sarah Maslia!

The workshop will focus on empowering attendees to take radical responsibility for creating and maintaining sustainable balance in their daily lives. The workshop will be divided into 3 20-25 minute segments: Mindfulness, Journaling and Yoga. Each segment will be introduced, validated by both research and anecdotal evidence, implemented and discussed using Q&A. Attendees will benefit from learning basic information about these powerful practices and the opportunity to practice each one with a skilled coach. When one becomes empowered the ripple effect benefits all.

Do you ever feel like Balance is some elusive, magical place you can rarely get to? What is it? How do you get it? Once you got it, how do you maintain it?

The Creating Balance by Design workshop will give you the information and tools you need (as well as answer burning questions!) in a fun, engaging and creative way to design a daily balance plan unique to your lifestyle.

You can expect to learn how adding the mindful practices of meditation, journaling and yoga to your daily self-care ritual will actually help you with the following:

-create more time (something we all want more of, right?) by creating space in your mind and body
-decrease stress, anxiety and depression by learning to live in the present instead of in the past or future
-learn to pay attention to your body and what it’s trying to tell you
-how to get unstuck and move forward in your life with a new sense of purpose
-what it feels like to take back control of your mind, body, emotions and spirit
-And so much more!

Give yourself the gift of joining Sarah Maslia of Unique Wellness Studios and find out how to create and maintain sustainable balance in your life!

Lunch will be provided by Three Sisters Catering.
