New state-of-the-art innovation center enables Enviroscent, Inc. to reimagine fragrance and inspire industry change
ATLANTA, January 18, 2017 – Enviroscent, Inc., the first and only healthy living brand in home fragrance, recently opened a new state-of-the-art 11,000 square foot innovation center at 4600 Roswell Road in Atlanta to accommodate its rapidly growing team.
Founded by NASA scientist Jeffrey Sherwood and his wife Sharon in 2001, Enviroscent locally produces a line of sustainable home fragrance products that feature innovation from all-natural materials and pure fragrance oils with no harmful chemicals. During the company’s peak months, Enviroscent is responsible for employing nearly 200 local residents.
In partnership with VeenendaalCave and Herman Miller, Enviroscent’s unique office houses an innovative 2,000 square foot Idealab dedicated to research and development. Enviroscent turned to CWC, Atlanta’s Herman Miller Certified Dealer, for help in aligning the physical environment to the Company’s core values and creating a highly desirable workplace. Herman Miller was the natural choice with their commitment to the environment and their Living Office concept, which integrates people, ideas, tools, furnishings and spaces.
“Our goal was to design and equip a space where people and work flow naturally,” says Nick McKay, Enviroscent’s CEO. “Our new workplace allows us to accomplish what we’ve set out to do - to reimagine fragrance and inspire change for the good of people and the planet. We’re excited to celebrate our growth and reaffirm our commitment to Sandy Springs and Atlanta.”
