Steve Voorhees
Chief Executive Officer


Steve Voorhees is chief executive officer of WestRock. Prior to his current role, Steve was chief executive officer of RockTenn and also served in various executive leadership roles, including president and chief operating officer; executive vice president and chief financial officer; and chief administrative officer.

His previous experience includes his work in operations and executive roles at Sonat Inc., a diversified energy company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

Steve is a member of the board of directors of WestRock, SunTrust Banks, Inc., the National Association of Manufacturers, the American Forest & Paper Foundation and Junior Achievement of Georgia.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and mathematics from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
